Bicycle Mechanic
We are seeking a full-time mechanic to head our service department year-round. As a mechanic you will have the opportunity to be involved in most roles, with your focus to provide top notch customer service and run an efficient and organized service centre. Working as a mechanic in our shop you must be willing to work in a team environment as that is how our store works best!
Position Responsibilities
- Work on all makes and models of bicycles
- Tune ups
- Wheel Builds
- Brake bleeds
- Suspension service and overhaul
- Work on e-bikes, diagnose problems, and update software
- Interacting with customers to help them find new parts/servicing for their bikes
- Building new bikes as received
- Keep the shop clean and organized
- Help with bike projects that come up
- After service follow up with customers
- Take care of service warranty
Position Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience doing maintenance and repairs in a bike shop
- Proficient working on road, mountain, hybrid bikes and E-Bikes
- Proficient with hydraulic brake systems
- Proficient overhauling suspension
- Willingness to learn new things
- Problem solving abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service
- Flexibility to work during the week and on the weekends
- Ability to balance customer sales with repair workload
Service Writer
We are seeking a full-time Service Writer to organize and maintain our service department. As a service writer you will be responsible for booking in bikes for repairs, managing service workloads, organizing, and managing our parts inventory, and completing repairs. You will have the opportunity to be involved in most roles, with your focus to provide top notch customer service and run an efficient and organized service centre being your top priority.
Position Responsibilities

- Managing and maintaining our parts inventory
- Ordering parts and tools
- Managing bookings to maintain manageable and balanced workloads throughout the week
- Bike tune ups
- Wheel Builds
- Brake bleeds
- Interacting with customers to help them find new parts/servicing for their bikes
- Building new bikes as received
- Keep the shop clean and organized
- Help with bike projects that come up
- Follow up with customers
- Take care of service warranty
Position Requirements
